...Because You Deserve to Be Heard
Attorney Rosie U. Streeter is the sole owner and operator of The Streeter Law Firm, P.A. She is a Polk County native, born and raised in Winter Haven, Florida. Rosie has an extensive background in criminal justice and personal injury. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and her Bachelor of Science in Criminology from The Florida State University. She continued her studies at FSU and earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice by completing coursework focused on a deeper understanding of criminological theory, including different theories of criminal behavior and problems in city-level policing. Rosie received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Florida Coastal School of Law.
As a law student, Rosie was a Student Ambassador for the law school as well as a parliamentarian for the Student Bar Association. Rosie attained vast trial and appellate experience with various legal issues while working in Mock Trial, Moot Court and in the Caribbean Law Clinic. As a law student advocate for Florida Coastal’s mock trial team, Rosie was able to assist her team in placing in the semi-finals for the Florida Justice Association Zehmer Mock Trial Competition for the first time in over a decade for the law school.
Rosie gained her personal injury experience from her employment with large personal injury law firms such as Morgan & Morgan and Parks and Crump. As a law clerk for Parks & Crump in Tallahassee, Florida, Rosie worked with experienced personal injury attorney Daryl Parks and civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump with matters involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, and catastrophic car accidents. During her employment at Morgan & Morgan, Rosie assisted with personal injury cases after filing a lawsuit.
Rosie’s experience from growing up in a family with both biological parents as well as being a single parent of an amazing little girl, Payton, helped her to further understand the importance of protecting the strong family unit and its values. It is her desire to use these experiences to help create permanent and stable home environments for families while advocating for their family law rights. While Rosie has proven to be a compassionate advocate, she is also committed to providing aggressive representation to ensure this cause.
As a sorority member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Rosie is deeply committed to community outreach, the betterment of society and being in a posture for social change. Rosie uses her past experiences and skills to play an active role in helping those in need.

Rosie understands. She has been on the client side of litigation and vowed that she would provide what mattered most in representation: accessibility, empathy, affordability, and resourcefulness.
Accessibility - There is no point of having a competent and experienced attorney for a legal issue if you are unable to reach him or her. Rosie is always available by phone or email and she personally responds to your concerns within 24 hours.
Empathy - Your attorney should treat your case as though it were his or her own. Rosie personally understands the emotional roller coaster involved with family law matters and the pain of caring for a loved one who was injured because of another’s negligence, recklessness, or intentional actions. She will guide you through this difficult time while providing you competent legal representation.
Affordability - Your decision to be heard should not depend entirely on the cost of representation. Too often, people decide against being represented because of the belief that representation is too expensive and thus not worthwhile. Rosie works with your budget to develop an affordable payment plan so that you do not have to choose between life’s necessities and your right to be heard. Additionally, Rosie offers free or low-cost consultations.
Resourcefulness - At times, litigation is not the best route to the resolution of your problem. As a Polk County native, Rosie has a large network of professionals in a variety of industries, ready and willing to be a resource to those in need when such situations arise.
